Gaia Girls offers unique and memorable programmes for mothers and daughters to facilitate and support girls inner growth and healthy development from childhood to young womanhood. We embrace and celebrate the physical, emotional and spiritual changes that occur along the way, allowing girls to foster a positive self image and go on to share their unique gifts in the world.
Our workshops and gatherings are organised into developmental stages to honour the journey specific to each girl’s phase of growth.
Gaia Girls also aims to give an opportunity for mothers and daughters to grow together, rather than apart, during these sometimes challenging times.
Run by local naturopath and counsellor, Karen McElroy, Gaia Girls combines activities and guidance to support girls on all levels. Different themes are explored depending on the age of the girls – covering body wisdom and health, creativity and craft, female rhythms and cycles, nature connection, emotional development, self esteem and empowerment.
